Prevention is better than cure...

ZOOM Sentinel is a unique service for the remote proactive monitoring of ZOOM solutions which requires no permanent remote connectivity yet provides a 24/7 operation. Sentinel monitors system parameters such as free memory, CPU load, disk space etc. in addition to the individual application parameters (e.g. core functionality, decoder and its queue, record servers, storage communicator etc. for CallREC application).

Sentinel communicates with the main monitoring platform by sending e-mail messages in a set interval. This provides a constant stream of status information without the necessity of a permanently established connection.

In the event of a warning or problem, ZOOM's dedicated service and support department will take immediate action to resolve any issue.

The GUI for the Sentinel monitoring is accessible to the customer and SNMP traps can be configured to alert the customers preferred monitoring platform.
